For many years, industrial mechanics Simon Siewert and Jürgen Traub worked for Jung, a leading international grinding equipment manufacturer in Göppingen, Germany. In 2009, the two innovators founded their own company there, Trauwert GmbH. Their business concept was to develop a high-precision roller bearing-mounted clipper trimmer to provide the brush industry with a high-accuracy cutting tool. Today, Trauwert clipper trimmers are used throughout Europe as well as in Japan and South America.

In the meantime, Trauwert GmbH has also become an innovative and trusted business partner in the textile industry, with their development of an even more specialised type of clipper trimmer. The two entrepreneurs set the bar very high here, too. Their key to success? Never cut corners when it comes to precision cutting tools!

A further core competency at Trauwert is µ-precision grinding of slide guide bearings and roller guide bearings. Trauwert provides these grinding services to maintain and refurbish automatic and manual dresser equipment for clients like Blohm Jung, a member of the United Grinding Group. Trauwert also provides services for leading chuck manufacturers.

The industry also relies on the creative minds from Göppingen as a think tank and sparring partner for solving all types of cutting problems. The two designers advise, launch and oversee various projects and processes for many high-profile customers.
